Werkstatt: 12 Month Program 2027
Group Exhibition
As part of the European Month of Photography the exhibition presents the final projects of participants in the Werkstatt: 12 Month Program. Diverse biographical and cultural backgrounds shape their perspectives on themes such as the body and identity, proximity and distance, labor and memory, belonging, urban spaces, and the relationship between humans and their environment.
These works represent distinct individual positions, developed through a collaborative process of observation, inquiry, and experimentation. Over the course of a year, images were created, discarded, rearranged, and discussed. At Flutgraben e.V., these photographic viewpoints converge in a temporary constellation: they overlap, challenge one another, and reveal new connections. It is not a shared aesthetic that binds them together, but rather the encounter between different perspectives.
Open studio: 13-14 March
Werkstatt will open a "work-in-progress" space. Contact sheets, image sequences, notes, and records of conversations will illustrate how photographic projects take shape through research, exchange, and collective editing.
