Werkstatt: Art Director
David Löffler (*1996) lives and works as a photographer and graphic designer between Hamburg and Berlin.
In 2021 he completed his bachelor's degree in communication design with a focus on photography in the class of Johanna Diehl at the University of Applied Sciences in Würzburg, Bavaria. Thematically, he dealt with the dynamics of prejudice and delved deeper into the prejudices of prefabricated housing in Germany.
Afterwards he worked as a graphic designer and/or photographer for various cultural institutions (such as Tresor Berlin, Topography des Terrors Berlin, AEDEN Berlin, University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt) or for individuals (Johanna Diehl, Götz Schleser, Dr. Judith-Friederike Popp).
Since 2023 he has been studying communication design in the master's program with a focus on photography and graphic design at the HAW in Hamburg.
In his work he deals with the visibility of things. He is currently working on a photographic series on the subject of "The limits of language in the context of depression".
